Mark Germain, from Gomes, DaCruz & Tracy, P.C. will be a guest speaker discussing changes in the tax code, touching on some 1031 exchange techniques, and talking about newly introduced Opportunity Zones in Massachusetts!

Mark Germain holds a BSBA and MBA from Western new England University. He recently received the Certified Information Technology Professional  (CITP) designation from the AICPA. Mark has extensive experience in audit, taxation and information technology. His Concentration is in small Business accounting, taxation and information technology for corporations and individuals.  His designation as a CITP demonstrates his ability to bridge the gap between business and Information Management. Mark is a member of the MA Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He one of the Class of 2011 Business West 40 Under Forty Award Recipients. He is also a distinguished member of the Cambridge Who’s Who. Mark is involved in community work and has served on various organizations boards, including The Association for Community Living, The Children’s Study Home and The Ludlow Boys and Girls Club and Community Center.

Mario’s Cafe Ambiance in East Longmeadow will be the venue for this month’s meeting. Please feel free to grab dinner at your convenience. We will be starting the introductions at 7:00pm with a few discussion topics and then transition into networking shortly after. The event is completely free to attend courtesy of Mario’s and our sponsors. Dining is at your own expense.
